DESCRIPTION:  \n \nPlease join us for a talk going over the basics of Zarathushtra’s teachings. The talk will begin with a look at the context of Zarathushtra\, his geographical location\, the society he lived in\, and so on. Following that\, we will then provide a brief overview of the philosophy that Zarathushtra presents in the Gathas. Rather than relying on later Zoroastrian tradition or an overly Abrahamic reading of the Gathas\, we will be looking at it from a purely ‘Zarathushtrian’ perspective\, as much as possible. Specifically\, we will discuss his view of the creation of existence\, the nature of God\, ethical dualism\, and the fate of the soul\, among other things; it will be a full overview of the teachings of Zarathushtra\, from the cosmos to the individual. \n  \nMeeting ID: 824 8977 6061\nPasscode: 264262
