Spəṇta Mainiiu and Aŋhra Mainiiu (*/Spanta Manyu/ and */Ahra Manyu/ in the Gathic dialect) is the second most fundamental conflict in Zoroastrianism. While Zoroastrianism is frequently considered a dualistic religion with a “bad god and good god” neither of these forces are gods, instead drivers for the material development of all existence.
