The Philosophy : In Depth

The Nature of Mazdaʔ Ahura

Mazdā Ahura (/Mazdaʔ Ahura/ in the Gathic dialect) is a term used by Zarathushtra to essentially refer to God. The term, while earlier used to refer to a Supreme Intelligence, goes beyond such human understanding. It instead refers to this force or process or movement by which the mental realm (encompassing mind, meaning, and even energy) is acted upon or changed. In this way, it is hard to know whether this Supreme Mazda is God itself or the process of acting upon the whole “mind” of the universe. Full article coming soon.

ZARATHUSHTRIAN ASSEMBLY

Zarathushtrian Assembly was founded by a group of visionary Zoroastrians in 1990 to create a progressive platform for people of all backgrounds, regardless of current religious belief, world view, national origin, ethnicity, or personal interpretation of Zoroastrianism, to study the philosophy and teachings of Zoroaster (Zarathushtra), as taught in the Gathas (his thought-provoking mantras).
