Utayūiti: Perpetuity, Vitality
Utaiiūti is a secondary concept in the Gathas with strong existential and metaphysical weight which surprisingly does not appear in later tradiition. It seems to mean mainly perpetuity, which is semantically distinct from immortality (as can be clearly seen in Yasna 45.7), although is may have another meaning of vitality. Utaiiūti ‘perpetuity’, alongside Təuuīši ‘broadening, thickening’, seem to refer to the two divine intermediaries which interact with the physical, material existence (as well as extend the properties of the mental realm). Utaiiūti specifically refers to the process by which reality can continue and move along in its current state, iteratively reach further states of existence. Full article coming soon.
